EP CRAB FLY !!

4-10-10 The last few weeks the bite has been great for Redfish on the flats with topwater, flies ,and cut mullet.Bait fish are starting to move in with the warming water temps and so should Amberjacks and Cobias!!  Speckle trout have move back into creeks and inlets and should get better with the months ahead. some of the biggest trout of the year are caught the next couple months.

1-31-10  I had Rusty and his Dad on 1-27-10 They had a great day catching 15 Redfish between 22-32inchs on Gulp Shrimps and jerk baits. On 1-28-10 Tyler from CastAway Customs came up for a few days for work and a little fishing and stuck 4 Redfish on the Fly !!

1-18-10 The Sight fishing for Large groups of Redfish has been outstanding on the mud flats at low tides.Spin anglers are doing well on Gulp jerk baits and Doa shrimp.Fly anglers Ep crabs and East Cut crazy critters. My Spin clients have been catching anywhere from 12-25 Reds and Fly Anglers are catching Reds in the double digits!!! not much on the Speckle trout bite right now seen few groups of nice size fish on the flat but they don't seem to want to bite from all the cold water temps.

7-15-09  Well it's my first Fishing report on my new site.

Let me start of with is that we have had a great Cobia run this year with plenty of fish being caught of wrecks and bouys on Fly/Spin tackle and with some good Amberjacks and Barracudas action mixed in also. Big schools of Spanish Mackerel have been blitizing on the surface from the harbor and outside jetties in the shipping channel and should hang around through the Summer this can be some fun and fast action on fly/spin tackle. The Tarpon have move in and some good reports are coming from down south and a few fish are being seen in Bulls Bay area. Speckle Trout fishing has been good with some nice size fish being caught around Harbor, Inlets, and Beaches and are being caught best on live menhadens and live shrimp. The Redfish Bite has been fair with good numbers being seen and caught using live bait, topwater, and flies on the lower stages of the tide. Are tailing tides season for Reds has been good with anglers seeing anywhere from 6- 15 fish on a good flood tide. Tailing tides should get better through the Summer/FALL !!!
